This delightful property provides comfortable accommodation for five guests. The living area comprises of a sitting room with a multi-fuel stove to ensure warm and cosy evenings whatever season you stay, and a dining table with seating for five guests, and a well-equipped kitchen perfect for preparing a home cooked meal. French doors lead out to the rear patio and garden so why not dine al fresco on warmer days. On the first floor, three bedrooms are presented (a king size with rural views, a twin, and a king size zip-and-link bed which can be converted into a 5' king-size upon request).
There is a parking area to the rear of the cottage, an enclosed garden laid to lawn and a patio area which is perfect for sharing drinks together as the sun goes down. A short drive or bike ride takes you to the popular market town of Leyburn where you can enjoy a bite to eat or a pub lunch; we recommend The Sandpiper for something a little special! A local bus route also runs through Redmire should you wish to take full advantage of the Dales bus service. From here you can leave your car behind, and not worry about parking in the busy sought after villages close by. Be sure to also explore Hawes, home to the Wensleydale Creamery. If you children, or even if not, discover The forbidden Corner Coverdale - a fantastic place for a day out filled with fantasy in the great outdoors. For those interested in local history, Castle Bolton is just a stone's throw away.

Redmire is a beautiful village with a great village pub that serves amazing food. Penhill is a beautiful cottage with everything you need inside. The electric radiators worked wonderfully and it was very cosy. The decoration was modern and gorgeous. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and there are many beautiful walks from the doorstep. There are 2 x 2 seater sofas in the lounge. They were very small and quite uncomfortable. A small chair was available for person number 5. Overall a beautiful cottage

We had a lovely stay at Penhill and the village was very friendly. We had our Christmas here and the owners provided some really nice touches including a present and hamper. The local pub had great food and selection of beers, it was also very family friendly. It's a short walk up the hill (less than a mile) to Bolton Castle with beautiful views over the Dales. The house was perfectly clean. One thing we didn't notice in the listing was it has a washer dryer, which was very helpful when you have kids!

Beautiful views front and back, lovely modern kitchen, amazing wood burning stove. Very friendly village with a great pub, loads of walks from the door. Extremely clean with everything you need. Would definitely return.
