Middle Cottage in Leyburn is highly praised for its cleanliness, prime location, and well-equipped facilities. Guests appreciate the comfortable furnishings, the peaceful setting, and the proximity to local amenities and scenic walks. The tiered garden is a highlight for relaxation, although accessibility may be a concern for some. The village's charm and the sight of racehorses add to the cottage's appeal.
Guests consistently note the cottage's immaculate condition, highlighting its spotlessness and well-maintained appearance. The high standard of cleanliness contributes significantly to the overall positive experience.
The cottage's location is frequently commended for being quiet yet conveniently close to the market square, pubs, and shops. Its setting is ideal for walking and exploring the Yorkshire Dales, although parking can be challenging during peak times.
Comfort is well-regarded with mentions of a cosy atmosphere and a well-equipped kitchen. However, some guests find the mattress too soft and the downstairs area a bit dark, which slightly affects the comfort score.
Facilities are generally praised for their high standard and thoughtfulness, including a well-stocked kitchen and detailed local guides. Maintenance issues and difficulties with heating control are noted, indicating room for improvement.
While the reviews reflect a high level of satisfaction with the cottage's amenities and the owners' responsiveness, there is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness. Therefore, a score cannot be provided.
