We are predominantly walkers so an ideal house and location for us offering comfort after long walks especially a bath to soak in and an extremely comfortable bed to rest our tired legs!

The cottage is clean, spacious and well equipped. It’s in a quiet location and only a few minutes walk from the village pub, which serves good food and drink. There’s no shop in Redmire so it’s a drive into Leyburn if anything is needed, but we brought everything we needed so didn’t need to. The welcome pack on arrival was one of the best we’ve ever had plus there were enough logs and kindling for the open fire to keep it going for a few days. You can’t park immediately outside the cottage but it wasn’t a problem as there is ample parking available in the village itself. We enjoyed our stay and plan to return in the future.

The most generously equipped holiday cottage we have ever stayed in! Attractive decor. Very comfortable. A delightful cottage in a lovely location. We would recommend.
