Browse the bookshelf and enjoy cosy evenings on the sofa or armchairs in front of the stone fireplace with a wood burner. Continue into the bright farmhouse-style kitchen with white-washed stone walls, dark cabinets on the corner kitchen unit and wooden worktops. The dining room boasts antique-style wall decor and a characterful low-hanging candle holder above the table. Climb the stone staircase to reach a family bathroom and four bedrooms – an en-suite king-size, one double and two twin rooms – one with an en-suite. Completing the property is a utility barn. Outside is a garden with a patio, furniture and a games barn.

Tucked away down a private farm track, you’ll be surrounded by tranquil walking trails in this rural part of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Stroll around the Scar House Reservoir (3.5 miles) or soak up the scenic views from the peak of Great Whernside (10 miles). Near here is the dramatic Mossdale Caverns (13 miles). Meet the birds of prey or tuck into an afternoon tea at the 1399 Bolton Castle (11 miles).

- The property is accessed via a working farm track that can be uneven at times. The final approach is up a short steep incline. Both tracks are suitable for normal vehicles if approached with due care.
