We found it warm despite the cold weather at the time and the lack of central heating: the storage heaters worked fine instead. The huge log burner was a delight when lit. It was also conveniently placed for what we wanted to do. We managed to park in front of the property every day we were there, which isn't always guaranteed. The kitchen despite it's size, could do with a few more secure storage places for bread and the like. The walk-in pantry is used to store cleaning equipment and materials so we couldn't use it for food. One or two of the pans (frying) need replacing I think.
