In a beautiful location within the pretty village of Harmby, Leyburn, it’s an idyllic spot to get back to nature. The property has been newly built in 2020 and furnished to a high standard. It offers ideal accommodation for a couple enjoying a stay in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. You can simply park up the car and explore Leyburn and the surrounding area from the door. Being first floor, the uninterrupted views from the large patio doors take in the extent of the surrounding Dales across to Penhill. With the village of Middleham and its Castle in the distance, and home to numerous racing stables, you can sit on the balcony and watch the horses exercise on the gallops on the horizon.
Inside, the apartment offers comfortable accommodation, the open plan living room and kitchen is a light filled space. With fully fitted kitchen and all your electrical appliances, the property is well equipped. Pull up a stool at the kitchen island while the designated cook rustles up breakfast or supper. The spacious bedroom with en-suite shower room, enjoying the same amazing views, has a gorgeous super kingsize bed to relax in and wall mounted TV to watch while you sip your morning coffee. Downstairs to the front of the property is a paddock, with a babbling beck running through to the rear of the property just yards from the door.
A short walk away is the local pub, with a second serving food just a little further in Spennithorne. Maybe stop en-route and discover the secret waterfall, a tranquil little spot and picnic area. Being on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, surrounded by stunning countryside and picture-postcard villages, Brookfields is an ideal base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. A haven for walkers and cyclists, yet minutes away from the charming market Town of Leyburn. You’ll find traditional shops, pubs and cafés all gathered around the handsome square, which hosts a busy market every Friday. Leyburn is also home to the biggest auction centre outside of London if you fancy picking up a bargain. The nearby historic town of Richmond is similar in many ways, and has a lovely setting along the River Swale. There are lots of other pretty villages and stunning natural sights all within close range. Aysgarth Falls and Bolton Castle are just a few miles away and the gorgeous villages of West Burton and Askrigg are within easy driving distance, so lots of choice for things to do if you want to get out and about. There are no amenities on this rural properties doorstep, however Leyburn is only a 30 minute walk away with pubs, restaurants and supermarkets.
