Being only half a mile from the Pennine Way makes Bainbridge Ings the perfect location to base yourself for a walking tour of the Dales. The Lake District is a 30 minute drive away.

Ribblehead cabin was very clean and tidy, but, the bathroom had a strong damp smell. I presume this is due to the drain in the walk in shower not draining properly. Also the flooring has come unsealed in the shower.There was only 1 baking tray in the kitchen cupboards, so if you decide to go for a stay over Christmas please make sure you take your own.The living room furniture was adequate but the settee and the chairs are not comfortable for longer periods of time. Hot tub was great once you managed to get in to it. For people with limited mobility getting into and out of the hot tub can be quite difficult so please be careful. The views from the hot tub are lovely.All in all enjoyed the short stay, but the bathroom and the living room furniture would definitely benefit being upgraded.

Very peaceful and stunning location. Had all the amenities you need. My only criticism is the living furniture is not very comfortable and could do with being updated
