Great place to stay, the Shepards hut with hot rib was just beautiful, lovely clean and tidy, great host. Will defo be visiting again. Easy walk to village defo recommend the white hart for food and the green dragon, log fires and great atomosphwre and the food is fantastic.

Gorgeous small lodge with wonderful hottub in a great locatjk .. Its a tiny place but it's just perfect. Warm and cozy, with everything you need. Private hottub was spotlesly clean and had beautiful views. Short walk into Hawes Fantastic value for money, would definitely stay agaib

Great place. It’s situated just a short walk (wouldn’t recommend doing it in the dark though) or drive into Hawes. The town has some great pubs, a Spar, a chippy and a pizza/kebab place.We stayed in the Herdwick which was great. Just perfect for the two of us. A double bed, kitchenette with hob, microwave and mini oven/grill. A shower room with heated towel rail. A TV with a settee too. We stayed when the weather was biblical and the Herdwick kept warm and dry. The private hot tub was a real bonus. We would definitely recommend.
