We came here last year on a staycation and liked the cottage and Hawes so much that we have come back. Last year we hiked up Pen-y-Ghent and this year Whernside - so it looks like we shall have to come back again for the third Yorkshire peak! We’ve also walked locally to Hardraw Force and from Aysgarth Falls to Bolton Castle. We like being in the town with a choice of places to eat and drink - we’ve eaten in the White Hart, Crown and Voujon (cash only!) - enjoyed all three. The cottage is cosy, comfortable and well equipped.

Holm cottage was perfectly situated for our holiday: convenient for eating out, shopping, and walking straight from the property, central yet very quiet. It was extremely comfortable and well equipped, with a lovely welcome hamper. Perfect in every respect.
