The pretty market town of Hawes, with its good selection of shops, cafés, restaurants, pubs, Wensleydale Creamery and museum is just a 10 minute walk away. The site is well placed for walking, or visiting nearby Hardraw Force Waterfall, local caves and castles. Being only half a mile from the Pennine Way makes Bainbridge Ings the perfect location to base yourself for a walking tour of the Dales. The Lake District is a 30 minute drive away.

The country pod was cosy with a good sized shower with nice water pressure. The kitchen area was small but plenty for making a few meals in.

What an absolutely stunning location for a short 4 night break with my 8 year old daughter. Waking up on a morning to the amazing views of the Yorkshire Dales, is something that cannot be compared with. Wild rabbits hopping around outside our pod, and all over the site, again was another fabulous feature of the place. My daughter could not get enough of the rabbits and the brilliant site. With plenty of field space for her and her friends to run around in, and for us to play cricket and outdoor games, it really was second to none. A fabulous bathroom and shower, in particular, in our pod. The whole pod was great for a short stay. The only improvement I could think of would maybe be somewhere to keep your clothes, but that was minor in the scheme of things. Overall an utterly wonderful break.... we will be back again next year🤩
