Fishing is a short walk away to the river or less than 100 metres to a fishing lake (permits can be bought locally). Guests looking to experience the outdoors can take leisurely strolls around Ripon Spa Gardens which hosts a variety of concerts throughout the year, or amble alongside the canal; if you time your visit right you could delight in a day out at Ripon Races! Venture to the historic town of Harrogate, home to the Great Yorkshire Show and the famous Betty's Café Tea Rooms, a fabulous place to indulge in traditional afternoon tea. ! It’s like Home away from home!! Neighbors weren’t friendly, we felt like we were intruders?! Washer is okay, wish there was a drying function to fluff up the laundry! Kitchen clock, battery is dead, not a big deal! Flies (live and dead ones) in the smaller bedroom, couldn’t figure out how they got in?? Will return again in the future!! Thank you
