Dating back to the mid 18th century, Half Moon Cottage is a characterful retreat in Harrogate perfect for both romantic breaks and family holidays. The town's excellent range of amenities and transport links can be found closeby along with historical attractions such as St Robert's Cave, the ruins of Knareborough's 12th century castle and Mother Shipton's Cave.

Inside

The attractive living space includes a sitting room with wood flooring, cream suite, wood burner stove, exposed beams, Freeview TV, DVD player and books. There is also a dining area in the kitchen and modern self catering facilities include a dishwasher, washer/ dryer, fridge, freezer, electric oven, gas hob and microwave.

First floor double bedroom with beamed ceiling and river views

First floor house bathroom with wooden flooring, bath with hair-washing attachment, separate corner walk-in shower, WC and hand basin

Second floor family bedroom with double/ set of twin beds plus an additional single bed. Please note that the ceiling height is 5ft near the stairs in this room.

Outside

There is a pleasant courtyard garden and car parking to the side of the property for one car. 

Other Things to Note

Children are welcome but please bring your own cot and high chair. The rental charge includes fuel, linen, towel, gas central heating and Wi-Fi service. A welcome pack of beverages and toiletries is provided on arrival. 

Guests are welcome to bring their own barbecue.

Availability

Short breaks of two nights or more may be available at certain times of the year. Dogs are accepted at a charge of £20 per pet, pet stay.
