The Barn offers superb accommodation in a peaceful setting, ideal for couples wanting to enjoy the North Yorkshire countryside, and is well-placed for discovering the Nidderdale AONB, Yorkshire Dales National Park and the spa town of Harrogate. Enter the property to discover a large living/dining room with a high, a-frame ceiling, Velux window and charming wooden beams, here you can relax on the sofa or choice of armchairs and enjoy watching the TV, or just simply sit and admire the view, while the dining table is a great place to enjoy a romantic meal together, prepared in the contemporary, neutrally-styled kitchen, complete with all the mod cons you will need during your self-catering holiday.

The ground-floor, fully-tiled shower room offers a place to get ready each morning, and head up the spiral wooden staircase to find the spacious mezzanine bedroom, complete with a king-size double bed, wooden beams and plenty of storage for your belongings. Voted Great Britain's Best Village High Street in 2016, you will find quaint alleys and yards off the steep main street, housing many interesting shops offering a range of unusual gifts and mementos, as well as wonderful eateries, two award-winning butchers, a fishmongers, bakery and the oldest sweet shop in England. Also worth a visit are the town’s Craft Workshops and the award-winning Nidderdale Museum - a lively collection of displays illustrating all aspects of Dales life in the past. Up and downstream, the Nidd Valley offers excellent opportunities for walking, cycling and birdwatching.
