Electric vehicle charging is not permitted at the property.
Please do not vape or smoke anything inside the lodge, light any candles or use anything with an open flame, with the sole exception when lighting the log burning stove. There is a £50 cleaning charge for non-compliance.
Towels are included.

Please note the electricity will be switched off on Tuesday the 2nd of December 2025 from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM. Northern PowerGrid are replacing the transformer that supplies power within the area

The cabin was ideal and very private on lovely woodland. Plenty of birds to watch and hearing the owls during the night. Very comf6 bed and everything that is needed in the kitchen. The hot tub was well needed by hubby.

We arrived at Springwood lodges and immediately loved the surroundings. The lodge is very spacious and has everything you need. There are some lovely touches such as a basket with blanket for snuggling on the sofa, and the tea and sugar on arrival is always appreciated- as was the bottle of wine in the fridge! Hot tub is lovely, but if it rains there is no cover. We didn't care but I imagine this might be useful for some.The shower was fine, the bed was comfortable although a bit noisy when getting in or out. A couple of things did let it down a bit. The finish in the bathroom could have been better, there was cracked tiles and bath panels for example. The lodge wasn't unclean but could do with a thorough go over, air vents very dusty, lots of spider webs about. Otherwise we had a very good stay. Loved sitting on the decking each morning and listening to the owl each night. Some stunning places to visit too not very far from the lodge.
