It is very close to the Yorkshire Dales and North Yorkshire Moors so makes the perfect base from which to explore the glorious Yorkshire landscape and its many stunning natural sights. The breath taking Nidderdale and Wensleydale beyond are just a short drive away and to the South West drive through some of the most dramatic Dales scenery within minutes. The medieval city of York is close by and easily accessible by train or car.
