Converted from farm buildings, semi-detached Crossgates and Fellbeck are situated on the edge of the moors, just 3 miles above Pateley Bridge. Comfortably furnished and centrally heated, the bungalows at Springfield Farm each provide a good holiday base to return to after a day spent walking over hills or at nearby Nidderdale. In addition to the excellent walking terrain, there is much to see and do in the surrounding area. Climbers and tourists alike can marvel at the form of the rocks at famous Brimham - time and the weather’s hand have shaped the land into incredible rock formations, where climbers and tourists alike marvel at their form. Fountains Abbey, Studley Royal, the cathedral city of Ripon and the spa town of Harrogate are close by. Shop 3 miles, pub ½ mile.

Lovely little cottage, spotlessly clean. Loved our family stay here and thank you for all the treats! Kitchen was well equipped enough to cook up a crumble, the pub is a ten minute walk if you want to eat out. It rained every day of our stay and we made the most of the dvd player and selection of DVDs. The sofas may look dated but they’re actually the most comfortable sofas I’ve sat in. All the safety things you expect but don’t always get were in evidence (CO detectors, weekly testing schedule, fire blanket). Would definitely stay here again. If there are more of you you can rent the adjoining cottage too.
