Tanfield barn , was stunning, in lovely location within walking distance to thirsk, short 9 miles to Northallerton, lovely busy pub/restaurant next door had everything you could wish for including underfloor heating, a bonus in winter /air con for summer , good parking. would give 5 star rating due to the extras that was included lush soaps , tea coffee biscuits, linen, large screen tvs in both rooms , quality of fixtures and fittings , nice large bed , dual shower , very large bath with views over the countryside , ensuite toilet upstairs as well as downstairs. large patio looking over well kept lawns with outside ambient lighting.

Blown away with the amazing decor, Tanfield Barn is great.Old Oak Tree pub has a very comprehensive home cooked menu.Walked into Thirsk, location is great. Everyone so friendly.Highly recommend Tanfield Barn, it is gorgeous.
