Very nice cottage, good location, but need own transport as its a bit off the beaten track!

A lovely spacious cottage with good bathrooms and very comfy bed with good scenery from the windows. The cottage could do with a refresh as it's getting a bit tired decor wise but it still was very clean. We would go back.

The apartment was lovely, the family were very nice and obliging, but we had inconsistent heating which they struggled to rectify. I have mobility issues and the bathroom tiles were slippery when wet and I had little confidence in the shower, my problems were the reason for getting a two bedroom ground floor apartment. It was down a single track road and 5 miles into Thirsk for anything at all, but all in all we enjoyed our stay and it was good value.
