We enjoyed our stay at Bilsdale Cottage. The setting is superb, the scenery beautiful and the peace and tranquillity most relaxing. The location gives convenient access to many lovely places and there is an excellent pub, 'The Dog and Gun', within a couple of miles which serves great food and is friendly and welcoming. The cottage itself is cosy and relatively well-equipped. The bed was very comfortable and the linen and towels of good quality. We would have liked more cutlery and crockery as we were disinclined to waste time washing up but didn't want to run the dishwasher unnecessarily. On the whole, the cottage was a pleasant place to stay but could, perhaps, benefit from a refresh and a clean, particularly in the en suite shower room.

Great cosy cottage. Lots of walks from the doorstep and plenty else to do a short drive away.

Well appointed comfortable accommodation in a wonderfully peaceful rural location. A great base for touring the local area and beyond. Would definitely stay here again.
