Small cottage but ideal for exploring the area. Excellent for the dog with the garden and field. Nice and quiet and secluded. Lots to see and do locally.

A wonderful property in a beautiful spot! Tucked away at the top of a quiet lane, in a lovely village. The cottage is perfect for two people, thoughtfully equipped with everything you need to be comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The garden is just lovely - private and sheltered, with wonderful views from the top seating area. And most important for us, the garden is very secure for dogs - ours loved the freedom to potter about and lie in the sun! Thirsk is a short drive away with access to big supermarkets, independent shops and other services & facilities, and there is lots to see and do in the area. Ellen the owner was super welcoming and helpful. All in all, this a gem of a holiday cottage and we will definitely book again! Thank you :)

Highly recommend. Had a fabulous weeks stay here with my dog last week. The back garden was amazing to have, all secure and dog friendly. The annex is in a beautiful spot, so peaceful but local enough to drive to any attractions in a short journey. Pub is just a 5 min walk away which is well worth a visit.Fabulous walks straight from the doorstep.Owner was lovely and friendly. Bonus to have a field attached that you can walk around with your dogs if you don't want to wonder far. Definitely worth a visit and I would 100% go back.
