Most guests found the cottage clean and tidy, but some mentioned dust, cobwebs, and minor oversights such as items left in drawers and blocked vents. A quick self-clean was needed by some guests.

Lovely friendly park with helpful and friendly staff . I would recommend this accommodation for anybody with young children and pets . It’s nice and secluded and feels safe . The hot tub is fully enclosed and private , which is good . Location is good , a short drive from Thirsk . No shop on site , but a nice little pub with a beer garden and grassy area for young children .

We booked the cottage for a little getaway, not wanting to travel far from home at this time of year but have time to ourselves to relax, and that's what we did.The cottage was lovely and clean and well equipped for what we needed. When we arrived the heating wasn't on, which was a surprise as it would have been nice to walk into a warm place, but thankfully it didn't take long to heat up. The only negative for me was the sofa arrangement. There was only a small two seater sofa, and a very small armchair. As there was only the two of us this was enough seating, but not enough to fully stretch out. If four people visited at the same time someone would have to use one of the dining chairs. The cottage would be better suited to two larger two seaters.The hot tub was fantastic and would definitely visit again.

Lovely accommodation, would probably stay again. A few small changes could make a huge difference.On the whole, quite a modern set up. The upstairs interior doors do let the place down, very cheap looking and a little damaged.A fully equipped kitchen made eating in easy. As 2 adults the living area was sufficient but 3+ would struggle with having space on the sofa.Upstairs, there are 2 spacious bedrooms, with comfy beds and plenty of wardrobe space. The bedrooms would benefit from more lighting and plug sockets near the dressing tables and perhaps a full length mirror. The bathroom was nice, however the vent is quite blocked and is ready for a clean, also, when you flush the toilet you can smell the drains. This is the same in the kitchen. If you empty the washing up water dow the sink,the whole living area temporarily smells of eggy drains.The "garden" was a disappointment unfortunately. It is more of a yard that is entirely filled by the hot tub. Unless you go in the hot tub there is nowhere to sit. The hot tub was great though, very clean.
