The micro lodge was extremely disappointing. I had my worst night's sleep to date on the sofa bed, which was tiny and had a panel that dug into my back all night. It would certainly not be enough to sleep 2 people. I even considered sleeping in the car. In the end, we had to all share the main bed which was also very uncomfortable. Another issue was that we didn't have enough toilet roll, though we were informed we could collect some from the storage lodge which is what we did. The shower door didn't fully shut, so every time we needed a shower, we had to expect some flooding in the bathroom. The boiler was extremely noisy all night, making it impossible to get a full night's sleep. Finally, the lodge was nowhere near as clean as we'd have liked. There was dust in the bed, the hot tub was murky each day, and there was a strong odour by the door that we eventually deduced was the doormat (presumably a previous guest had brought a pet).
