Both Bedale and Leyburn (9.5 miles) have a great variety of independent shops, restaurants, pubs and cafes, or you could head to Richmond (9 miles) and explore the castle ruins, or to Ripon (18.5 miles) for a day at the races. Other attractions include The Forbidden Corner (13 miles), Aysgarth Falls (17 miles) and Bolton Castle (16 miles). For walkers and cyclists, the Yorkshire Dales (16 miles) and Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (10 miles) are both within easy reach. On entering this handsome holiday property, you will find a spacious and welcoming lounge with a choice of comfortable seating, TV and DVD, making this a lovely space to relax in. Exploring further you will find the attractive open plan kitchen/diner. The pretty garden room makes a wonderful dining space, with views across the garden and beyond.
