Nestled in the very heart of the Yorkshire Dales, the property offers stylish accommodation amongst beautiful scenery, ideal for a large group to get together and enjoy country living at its very best. Anglers Cottage showcases many features of a traditional Yorkshire property, with an old stone floor, original beams and charming window seat. The farmhouse kitchen is spacious, well equipped and full of character, whilst the sitting room is cosy and warm, with lovely furnishings and a woodburning stove set in a feature fireplace. The dining room provides a great place to gather for a meal together, or sit at the piano for a good old singsong, and it also serves as a snug where friends can relax away from the group. Two separate staircases access the first floor, where five well-thought out bedrooms provide flexible sleeping arrangements. The main bedroom with a super king-size bed sits next to the modern bathroom and boasts fabulous views of the beautiful surrounding countryside. A twin with pull-out bed provides a great room for little ones, whilst a further three doubles, all with good views, ensure comfortable accommodation for all. Outside is a small patio area with furniture, and just a stone’s throw away is Kilnsey Park, offering a variety of activities with fly fishing, friendly farm animals and pony trekking. Wonderful fell and riverside walks trail from the doorstep, along with cycle paths, and of course the opportunity to ride the 2014 Tour de France route. Grassington can be reached within a short drive, with its quaint independent shops, pubs, restaurants, cafes and charming cobblestone square where each year, the celebrated Dickensian Festival takes place. A fabulous cottage, perfect for that family to get together, whatever the time of year.

Kilnsey is a small village in Wharfedale, lying between the villages of Grassington and Kettlewell, near Arncliffe and just across the River Wharfe from Conistone. The most notable feature of Kilnsey is the large limestone cliff of Kilnsey Crag, overlooking the road and the River Wharfe from the west. Kilnsey offers a well-located base for your Yorkshire dales adventure.
