The property is a short walk from the quaint village high street, where you will find traditional inns, independent shops and even a seasonal, open-air heated swimming pool! The surrounding area is a dream for lovers of the outdoors, from gentle strolls in the stunning nearby countryside to outdoor pursuits in the many majestic caves and waterfalls in the vicinity. For other amenities and a fine place to visit, the bustling market town of Settle is close by, offering an excellent array of pubs, restaurants and charming shops, as well as a supermarket. When in the area the famous Settle-Carlisle Railway is not to be missed, winding its way through spectacular limestone scenery and over the Ribblehead Viaduct with spectacular views of the Three Peaks along the way. In one of the Yorkshire Dales' most popular villages and within a thirty minute drive of the stunning Lake District, this property makes for a great base for exploring all that this magnificent region has to offer.

The attractive village of Ingleton is nestled beneath Ingleborough, one of the famous 'Three Peaks' on the western edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Offering a wide range of shops, pubs and places to eat, the winding streets of this pretty village all converge on a central market place. A mile outside of Ingleton and down the Hawes road are the well known White Scar Caves. Open to the public, these caves display a huge number of caverns full of stalactites and stalagmites, with one cave home to a huge underground lake. The superb 'Falls Walk' offers an interesting circuit which takes in some of the impressive cascading waterfalls of the area whilst the proximity to both the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake distract make this an excellent place for walkers.
