About this Holiday Cottage

Situated at the peaceful Stile Top Farm in Norwood, The Washburn is a beautifully converted mistal offering luxurious accommodation throughout and far reaching country views over Nidderdale. Ideal for up to four people plus a child, families are most welcome and there is plenty of outdoor space to enjoy.

Inside

The property is set all on one level and has a lifestyle room with panoramic views over the Washburn Valley. The beautiful hand painted kitchen by 'Little London Furniture' is fitted with a range cooker and integrate appliances. There is a lounge area with corner suite, 40" wall mounted TV and a solid oak dining table seating four guests. 

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

The family bedroom (Dob Park Room) has a king size oak bed plus an additional single bed. The ensuite travertine tiled bathroom has a lovely slipper bath with hand held shower, basin, WC, heated towel rail and wall mounted TV. The second bedroom (Fewston) is a double which has an ensuite shower room with walk in cubicle. 

Outside

The cottage has an outdoor patio area with seating and a wildlife pond can be found a short walk away. A steam runs close to the property and there are facilities for bike storage. 

Other Things to Note

The property has oil central heating. There is free Wi-Fi service but due to the rural location, the signal may be intermittent. Babies are welcome but please bring your own cot and high chair. A welcome pack of beverages is supplied for your arrival. 

Availability

Short breaks of three nights or more are welcome throughout the year. Pets are accepted at an extra charge of £20 but must be kept on a lead due to grazing animals and the owner's dog. 

Around and About

The property is set on the fringes of Nidderdale - an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty - and is within easy reach of the Yorkshire Dales, Harrogate, Ilkley and Wetherby. Rural location with plenty of country walks and cycle rides nearby. Leeds Bradford Airport is three miles away.
