Guests frequently commend the cottage for its spotless condition, indicating a high standard of cleanliness. The repeated mention of 'sparkling clean' and 'very clean' suggests that cleanliness is a priority for the property.

The cottage's location is highly praised for its proximity to local pubs, scenic walks, and nearby towns and villages. It is described as perfect for exploring the area, although on-street parking and accessibility may be considerations for some.

Many reviews highlight the cottage's cosy and comfortable atmosphere, with good quality furnishings and a warm, homely feel. The presence of a wood burner adds to the comfort, although there are some comments about heavy quilts and the heat during sunny weeks.

Facilities are generally well-received, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen, good WiFi, and a secure yard. However, some guests noted a lack of storage space for food supplies and suggested improvements such as additional mugs and door hooks.

The owner's thoughtfulness is evident through the provision of welcome treats for both guests and dogs, as well as attentive communication. While these gestures are appreciated, it is politely noted that such extras are a courtesy and not guaranteed.

Great little pub at the end of the road and more facilities just 1.3 miles away in High Bentham. Cottage is lovely, cosy and well equipped with all you need for a home from home stay away. There is a lovely little patio area at the rear which will be a great space for relaxing and enjoying the sun in the summer months. The only downside was there was no washcloth or pan scrubber for washing up on our first evening which was a little inconvenient but resolved the next day with a trip to the Co-op in High Bentham.

Tricky to get up path from road if you are less able. But it's perfect. Bed comfortable, shower lovely. Kitchen well equipped. We arrived later than expected due to a breakdown. So we're exhausted, welcomed by lights and heating on. Had Christmas Day in lovely surroundings and very relaxing. Cobble Cottage is probably one of the best cottages we have stayed in. Small yard in back. We had 5 of the stormiest days at Cobble. So snug.
