It has superb views of Ingleborough and is centrally situated for the Three Peaks Walk. An excellent location for touring, the Dales, Lake District, Morecambe Bay and the small market town of Ingleton with waterfalls and caves are all within an easy drive. Shop 3½ miles, pub 1½ miles.

First impressions mean a lot to me.When you first see the cottage from the driveway, the first thing you notice is the Lean to on the end which is wooden and is falling apart, The perspex roof has algae on it, the wooden frame and panels are rotting away. And there is duck tape trying to hold it together, its also has cobwebs hanging from it.The kitchen area looks like it needs updating.The Dishwasher door has a crack in it and is covered up by tape.The oven door doesn't fit properly and keeps flying open when trying to use it, I did phone the owner to make her aware of this and she said that she was already aware of the problem.Not many of the electrical appliances had an approved pat tested mark on them, and the Light switches and sockets look so old, there was even a really old pull cord in the twin bedroom.

Love the cottage and have been many times. Perfect if you like walking, especially if you have dogs with you. They will love the enclosed paddock to runaround in - mine always do. I like that there is no internet and minimal phone signal ( I get one in the garden overlooking the paddock when necessary). Shops and others amenities are available in Ingleton, a short drive away. A very relaxing holiday no matter what the weather is like.
