The cottage is situated on the outskirts of the village of Slaithwaite, voted the best place to live in the North in 2022. The village is set on the edge of the Peak District in the South Pennines and is surrounded by beautiful countryside, with an abundance of picturesque walks and cycle trails nearby. A 10 minute stroll leads down to the village where you can browse a selection of independent shops and eateries, or wander along the canal which winds through the centre. The town of Holmfirth is just 6 miles away boasting a whole host of amenities and attractions. Visit the popular Last of the Summer Wine exhibition, treat yourself to a trip to the vineyards or see a show at the renowned Picturedrome. Leave your muddy coats and boots at the door as you step into this wonderful home from home and feel instantly welcomed by the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Cosy up in front of the wood burner on one of the comfortable sofas and enjoy watching a movie on the Smart TV. A traditional wooden dining table lies in the corner of the room, the perfect spot to enjoy a home cooked meal with the family. This bedroom benefits from its own en suite wet room with WC. To the front of the property is a small patio area. There is on street parking, subject to availability. Please note there are low sloping ceilings and beams in one of the bedrooms.
