This homely semi-detached cottage is situated in Withernsea, a cosy, coastal haven with a relaxed atmosphere, appreciated as a magnificent seaside town. Perfect for families and friends, Driftwood is a unique base to begin your adventures, and somewhere peaceful to return to after a busy day of sightseeing and so much more. Enter inside to the beautiful lounge/diner, a spacious haven to settle down in the company of your loved ones in front of the woodburning stove with a great outlook over the gravelled garden which invites the outside in. Discover the modern kitchen, which is home to a collection of appliances, also providing access to the outdoor area via a delightful porch. The ground floor is finished with a traditional double bedroom, and a classic shower room with a vanity unit, and shower cubicle. On the upper level you will discover a cloakroom, and two further bedrooms, each thoughtfully decorated, with a pleasant view from the window which you can wake up to every morning of your stay. The flat, rural landscape surrounding the town offers some remarkable sweeping views. The villages feature historical landmarks, including a lighthouse now housing a museum, Withernsea's sand and pebble beach, a grand tower-like entrance, plenty of delicious cafés nearby and, further along the coast, the atmospheric Spurn Peninsula that stretches three miles out to sea. Also, less than a minute away, you will have access to a year-round dog friendly beach. Withernsea also boasts a traditional promenade, and ornamental gardens, a fabulous cottage in a popular part of Yorkshire.
Withernsea is a popular seaside town in the East Riding of Yorkshire and benefits from many historical landmarks, such as the museum in the lighthouse, a huge nuclear bunker and a Napoleonic fortress. The town also boasts a small sand and pebble beach, a traditional promenade, fish and chip shops and ornamental gardens. The surrounding villages offer some historical landmarks, including a lighthouse now housing a museum.

MR Dennis Spicer and family,have been guests at the Dritwood yet again,we visit through out the year,Driftwood feels like a home from home property,the cleanliness in a abundance,facilities are plenty and on the whole a wonderful property to reside in,its a very well configurated property,plenty of space for myself as i am disabled,the downstairs bedroom and absolute gem,100yds down the road from the ocean wonderful,we would like to take this opportunity to thank all involved at the Drifwood for making our stay yet again wonderful,so thenkyou,see you again soon,Mr Dennis Spicer and family,

The double bed upstairs very comfy and I slept really well. The TV ok but very small for the lounge and difficult to view the writing on screen unless a couple of feet away. The back seating area and windows need some TLC but didn't mind too much as it was too cold and wet to sit out in being October. The timer on the boiler doesn't work so had to put heating on when needed manually on and off. But all these things are general maintenance issues, the property itself is delightful. Thanks.
