This cosy cottage is located in an enviable position in Lund, which is a small village with a traditional pub and restaurant within walking distance. This delightful part of Yorkshire is criss crossed with fantastic walks and cycle opportunities. The Wolds Way is in easy reach and there are an abundance of National Trails and cycle routes, including those forming part of the Big Skies Bike Rides. If you are looking for a day exploring the East Yorkshire coastline, whether you like to catch your breath looking out from the dramatic chalk cliffs at Flamborough Head, watching the wildlife at Bempton Cliffs, or going for an amble along the sandy beaches nearby, you are spoilt for choice. Head 9 miles South to Beverley for a meander round the charming streets of this market town and visit the gothic Beverley Minster. A little further away to the West of Lund, is the beautiful historic City of York. York is renowned for its quirky cobbled streets and quaint bespoke shops set amongst medieval architecture and is packed with things to see and do. When entering the property, you will find yourself in the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The kitchen area is well equipped to prepare a family meal. There is an electric oven and hob, a fridge with freezer compartment. There is also a dishwasher to save you from the washing up. So, after enjoying that home cooked meal together at the dining table, head straight to the lounge area, sink into the sofa, sit back and relax in front of the cosy wood burner. From the lounge, there are patio doors leading outside. Completing the ground floor, is a utility/shower room with WC and washing machine. Heading up the wooden stairs to the first floor, there are two bedrooms; a super king size zip and link bed and a king size. Also, on the first floor is the family bathroom with freestanding bath and an additional shower room. Stepping outside from the patio doors on to the patio area where you will find garden furniture to sit and enjoy al fresco dining whilst overlooking the enclosed garden. There is off road parking for up to two cars. There is additional roadside parking in the village. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 super king size zip and link (which can be made up as a twin on request) and 1 king size. 1 bathroom with free standing bath and 1 ground floor shower room. Electric oven and hob, fridge with freezer compartent and dishwasher. Utility area with washing machine and microwave . Wood burner (first basket on logs included, additional logs can be purchased from the owner). Electric included Underfloor heating on ground floor and gas central heating on 1st floor. Off road parking for up to 2 carefully parked cars and additional roadside parking. Wi Fi included. 2 dogs welcome, must be on a leading when walking in the village Dog owners are encouraged to bring dog cages if required. Pub within walking distance. Complex of 3 properties. Lockable bike storage available. Smart TV in lounge. There is no electric car charging point at this property. There is cctv operating in the parking area. The Old Brickworks and The Tailor's Workshop can be booked together and linked, there is a sound proofed door which can be unlocked from the lounge of The Old Brickworks with access to a bedroom in The Tailor's Workshop please advise at time of booking if this is required.
