Cottage perfectly functional, everything clean and in good order; it was lovely to have the upstairs sitting room. Excellent location for exploring the Peak District. Quiet local area but found a reasonable pub (Blue Stoops) and a couple of takeaways that were fine. Having the good size Sainsburys nearby was excellent!Only downside was slight lack of privacy - cottage shares a building with another holiday let and the residents there were easily audible (and were not unduly loud - general conversation). Luckily they kept similar hours to us so although noticeable it was not ultimately disruptive.Overall we had a lovely stay and the cottage met our needs.
