There are miles of country walks to be enjoyed direct from the property s front door including the 1.5 mile walk up to the Stoodley Pike Monument a fantastic vantage point offering breath-taking views of the surrounding moorland. However the property is not completely isolated and the town of Todmorden lies just two miles away offering an interesting array of shopss and several markets each week including a second-hand market on Thursdays. Four miles north of the property the town of Hebden Bridge is a great place for a day trip offering a vibrant community with a wealth of independent shops and a good range of cafes restaurants and pubs. Approached via a single farm track road this period property is accessed down several stone steps which lead down to the front door. Once inside they will come to the spacious kitchen/ dining area with a dining table seating six set to one side of the room whilst the kitchen area is equipped with a Range-style oven hob microwave fridge freezer dishwasher and washing machine. Moving through to the spacious lounge where contemporary comforts sit alongside well-maintained original features including the exposed stone fireplace and wood panelled walls. The large corner sofa invites guests to sit back and relax in front of the TV/DVD whilst enjoying the cosy glow and warmth radiating from the cosy wood burner. Stairs lead from the lounge up to the first-floor accommodation where there are three bedrooms. All three of these bedrooms benefit from zip-and-link beds which allow them some versatility in the way they are set up. Two of the rooms are usually made up as doubles but can be made up as twins on request whilst the third bedroom is generally made up as twin room but can be made up as a double on request. The bathroom meanwhile has a shower-over-bath and WC. Outside the property enjoys a garden with a patio and grassed area which offers breath-taking views over the surrounding countryside. There is off-road parking available and there is also a natural spring water supply.
