For any fans of ‘Gentleman Jack’, Grade II Listed Shibden Hall can be reached in a 5 minute drive and is surrounded by the stunning restored gardens and estate that all form part of Shibden Park.  Ideally placed for exploring all the area has to offer, outdoor enthusiasts can sightsee the local countryside which is important to the Brontë heritage, and keen road cyclists will find excellent circular routes directly from the front door.  Ogden Water Country Park and artsy Hebden Bridge are around a 15 minute drive and Haworth around half and hour.  Skipton and the Yorkshire Dales National Park can be reached in around an hour and Halifax train station is a 20 minute walk, and offers a dire. . .
