Guests say

Waterside Lodge Three offers a spacious, well-equipped, and comfortable retreat in a picturesque canal-side setting. Guests consistently praise the cleanliness, quality linens, and relaxing hot tub, as well as the peaceful surroundings and easy access to scenic walks and local amenities. While some mention minor maintenance issues and worn carpets, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests eager to return and recommend the property to others.

Most guests found the lodge spotlessly clean, especially the bedrooms and bathrooms, with only a few noting stained or grubby stair carpets and occasional kitchen or carpet wear. The majority of reviews highlight high standards of cleanliness throughout.

The location is highly praised for its tranquil canal-side setting, beautiful views, and proximity to walking paths, Brighouse, and local restaurants. Guests appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and easy access to nature.

Guests frequently mention comfortable beds, spacious living areas, and a relaxing environment. Minor issues such as limited seating for larger groups and occasional cold bedrooms in winter were noted, but overall comfort is rated highly.

The lodge is well-equipped with a hot tub, log fire, and kitchen amenities. Guests appreciate the daily hot tub maintenance and thoughtful touches. Some mention minor maintenance issues (e.g., induction hob, step repair, worn sofa), but these are generally resolved quickly.

Guests appreciated the welcome booklet and attentive staff, with daily hot tub checks and friendly service. While some thoughtful touches are mentioned, gifts are not guaranteed and may not be provided for every stay.

Overall a nice cabin, clearly used by lots of dogs and their humans. Surrounding area of the cabin gives the impression of being unfinished with debris and building materials in various places. So had to travel to other places to let the dogs have a good run around. If the weather isn’t good then it is a struggle to find things in the local area to do with little ones, would recommend Eureka children’s museum in Halifax and the leisure centre in Huddersfield with various activities and a great swimming pool if you have younger children. There are a lot of stairs in the property so anyone with mobility issues would struggle to stay here. Overall a nice stay. Thank you!

The carpet was a bit grubby but understandable as it was wet and muddy outside and not everybody takes their footwear off the hob and oven were unpredictable weather worked or not an instruction manual would be good but spotlessly clean everywhere
