Guests say

Waterside Lodge Fourteen offers a tranquil setting with lovely views, particularly appreciated from its hot tub. Guests have enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and found the property to be a cosy place for a getaway. While some maintenance issues have been noted, the overall experience has been positive, with the lodge providing a peaceful retreat and a good location for exploring the area.

The lodge generally receives praise for its cleanliness upon arrival. However, there are mentions of mould in a bedroom and issues with drainage affecting cleanliness, which slightly lowers the score.

The location is highly regarded for its peacefulness, beautiful views, and proximity to nature reserves and the Calderdale canal. It's considered a great spot for unwinding and enjoying the scenery.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the lodge cosy, but some have mentioned that the sofa is too small for the number of guests the lodge can accommodate, which affects the overall comfort.

While the hot tub is a highlight, there are several reports of maintenance issues such as faulty appliances and drainage problems. These concerns suggest that the facilities could benefit from more attention and care.

There are no specific mentions of gifts or extra thoughtful touches provided by the hosts. Therefore, it is not possible to assess the thoughtfulness of the property based on the reviews provided.

The lodge was lovely and cozy the hottub was gorgeous abit of a problem at the first with it tripping all time the downstairs bedroom had mold and it smelled horrible I tried to get in contact with owner but she never messaged me the next day I had to speak to a cleaner about it and even they didn’t hardly do anything about it

It was very clean and tidy and lovely views.Unfortunately when the sink was emptied, the dirty water came up into the bath downstairs. It didn’t spoil our weekend but it wasn’t pleasant.

Perfect stay over Halloween half term, just like last year. Same again next year!
