About this property

Resting in the quaint village of Haworth, set within the owners property, is this delightful first floor, self contained apartment Libby's Place. Offering a charming and homely setting, Libby's Place is an idyllic base for a romantic retreat for a couple looking to discover the delights of West Yorkshire. Enter via the private access doorway alongside the property and climb the grand staircase to the landing on the first-floor, flooded with light welcomed in through the towering window, and continue through to the open-plan living space, boasting a traditional décor with complimenting rustic wooden furnishings. The sociable space offers an amply-equipped kitchen, a snug dining area, as well as a plush sofa gathered in front of the television, inviting you to nestle in and enjoy a cosy night in with your significant other. Heading back downstairs, step outside onto the private patio to share a bottle of wine in a peaceful and intimate setting, enveloped in the surrounding greenery, as you watch the sunset in the distance. As the evening grows darker, prepare for bed with a relaxing rinse in the shower before resting your head in the king-size bedroom, beautifully-appointed with an antique four poster bed, where you can wake up to striking views of the garden and across to the rooftops of Haworth framed by the aspect windows. If you don't fancy cooking, venture to the center of Haworth for a bite to eat at Haworth Old Hall, a traditional pub set in a 16th century manor house, boasting exposed beam ceilings and rustic fireplaces and serving locally sourced produce. Head off on foot to explore the abundance of literary heritage that the town has to offer, visiting Brontë Parsonage Museum, the family home of the famous novelists, the Bronte sisters, displaying letters, household artefacts and personal possessions in the setting that Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights were written. Enjoy a leisurely journey along the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway, indulging in a spot of afternoon tea as a vintage steam-hauled locomotive travels through the county, providing breath-taking views of the stunning countryside. Jump in the car and travel to the Yorkshire Dales National Park, a picturesque landscape made up of moors, valleys, hills and villages, where avid hikers can tackle the Yorkshire Three Peaks, a challenging climb to the summits of Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen-y-ghent mountain. Within easy reach of Haworth are the bustling cities of Bradford and Leeds, home to a host of sights and attractions, including a bustling nightlife and exciting shopping opportunities. Make memories to last a lifetime with a stay at Libby's Place.
