The lodge has everything you need kitchen wise, an oven, hob, microwave, toaster & a kettle with an addition of a Nespresso coffee maker, and there is a small dishwasher as well.We made good use of the sauna and the hot tub, and accommodation wise there is a very comfortable four poster bed, reclining sofa and rocking chair in the lounge area and a TV with a DVD player and a Bose sound system. It was quite mild weather while we were there but if not there is a lovely log burner, and you can help yourself to kindling & logs from an outside store at the back of the lodge which is on an honesty basis, you note down what you use and pay before you leave.

The Den was very cute and cosy, and came with everything we needed. We were able to cook all our meals using the kitchen and equipment which was great. The bedroom had lots of storage and a comfortable bed. We didn't get to use the sauna because of the heatwave, but the wood in there had also bled a lot, which i know is natural but it honestly made the sauna look like a murder scene haha!!! The TV and speakers worked fine. The only qualm was with the dishwasher which did not clean our dishes properly so we did it by hand instead. Although our timing was great to catch the end of a hot spell, it was really warm inside the cabin, and we could have benefitted from a fan.
