Guests have praised The Cottage for its warm welcome, high-quality furnishings, and excellent location near Bewdley and local attractions. The property is well-suited for families and groups, offering a secure environment with thoughtful touches like a welcome pack. While there are some minor concerns about privacy and hot tub rules, the overall experience is highly regarded, with many guests planning to return.
The property is generally described as clean, with only one mention of cobwebs and spiders, suggesting a minor issue rather than a trend. The majority of guests did not raise cleanliness as a concern.
The location is frequently highlighted as a positive feature, with its proximity to Bewdley, Kidderminster, and local attractions like the West Midlands Safari Park and Severn Valley Railway. The quiet setting away from traffic noise is also appreciated.
Guests find the beds and sofas comfortable, and the open plan living area conducive to relaxation and socialising. There is a slight issue with water pressure when multiple showers are used simultaneously, but overall comfort is rated highly.
Facilities are generally praised, especially the well-appointed kitchen and the hot tub, despite some rules limiting its use. There was a reported issue with a shower, but the presence of en-suites mitigated the inconvenience. The secure gates and field for dog exercise are also noted as bonuses.
While guests have mentioned welcome packs and the provision of local information, there is not enough information to determine if such gestures are consistent across all stays. Therefore, it is politely noted that while some guests have received gifts, they are not guaranteed for every stay.

Owners live next door to the property so were able to quickly resolve any issues and questions.Entrance not very obvious on a very busy main road but property set back so no traffic noise, and access at the back of the property through a locked gate opens up a walk into Bewdley - about 1 mile.Property well appointed and comfortable plus a few treats on arrival. Nice Xmas tree and decorations.A number of excellent walks and off road bike tracks nearby plus the Severn Valley Railway.A lovely family Xmas with my daughter, 2 dogs, and my sister and husband plus we were joined by 3 other friends who each came for a couple of days - parking on one day for 5 cars possible.

Just spent a lovely week here to relax before Christmas (5adults). Lovely accommodation, comfortable and well equipped and a real bonus having so many bathrooms. Sharp knives which are often lacking in self catering accommodation. Had a problem with the hot tub (wasn’t warm after 24 hrs) Vanessa immediately came to sort and advised the settings had been changed, it was ready for use by the next day. Asked for somewhere to get a nice brunch after checking out and again, Vanessa promptly sent recommendations. Walking distance to Bewdley to eat and drink, sadly the weather wasn’t on our side so didn’t walk as much as we would have liked. Instead, we spent time watching films and playing board games in the cottage. Had takeaway delivered one evening with no problems. Some lovely pubs and places to eat within walking distance. Thank you 😊
