Guests appreciate the peaceful views, proximity to local attractions, and dog-friendly environment. The property is ideal for both relaxation and exploring the area. Minor suggestions include improvements to the TV size, sofa comfort, and secure outdoor space for dogs, but these do not detract from the overwhelmingly positive experience. Thoughtful touches, such as welcome packs, are frequently mentioned, making this a highly recommended holiday retreat.
Cleanliness is consistently highlighted, with multiple guests describing the lodge as spotlessly clean, very clean, and well maintained. Only minor wear and tear is mentioned, which is understandable in a rural, dog-friendly setting.
The location receives high praise for its beautiful, peaceful countryside views and convenient access to local attractions, walks, and a friendly village pub. Guests value the tranquil setting and proximity to Bewdley and the Wyre Forest.
Guests find the lodge spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed. Some mention the sofas being a bit low or small for four adults, and a few note the TV could be larger or better positioned, but overall comfort is rated very highly.
The lodge is described as very well equipped, with everything needed for a relaxing stay. Suggestions for improvement include a larger TV, a casserole dish, a tray, and a secure gate for dogs. Maintenance issues are minor and do not impact the overall positive impression.
Many guests mention thoughtful touches such as welcome packs and treats for dogs, which enhance the stay. Please note that these gifts are not guaranteed for every visit.

Wonderful place! Highly recommend a canoe trip down the river. So much to do in the local area but equally lovely just to sit on the balcony, watch the sheep, listen to the birds and gave a BBQ! We will definitely be back.

Very clean, spacious well appointed comfortable lodge. In comparison to other lodges we have used this one was enormous with 2 bedrooms a walk through dressing room bathroom and ensuite shower room. Our one minor issue would be the size & position of the T.V it was quite small for the size of the lounge & mounted quite high up on the wall. We also felt the sofas to be a tad low. With this in mind we definitely enjoyed our stay & would definitely stay there again.Just a heads up, if you plan to visit the Blackcountry museum it is currently closed Monday & Tuesday.
