Formerly the farm stables and granary, this holiday cottage sits within the beautiful countryside of Warwickshire and is close to Stratford-upon Avon and the Cotswolds villages. Guest's also have the use of an indoor swimming pool (shared only with the owners!). A great base for exploring Central England with an abundance of attractions.

Stable Cottage is in the heart of the lovely Warwickshire countryside, and only seven miles from the historic town of Stratford-Upon-Avon, on the edge of the Vale of Evesham. Guest's staying at Stable Cottage have the use of an indoor swimming pool (shared only with the owners), where you can relax at the end of an exciting day exploring the area.

Stratford-Upon-Avon was the home of William Shakespeare and is steeped in history and culture. It offers the perfect place to stroll or row a hire boat along the river, visit the theatre, dine out in one of the many restaurants or browse the many lovely shops.

The cottage is also perfectly located for visiting the picturesque Cotswolds villages and towns with Broadway and Chipping Campden only seven miles away. Warwick Castle is within easy reach and there are several National Trust properties nearby, including Hidcote Manor Garden, Charlecote Park and Coughton Court. A little further away but still within easy reach are Birmingham and the NEC.

Formerly the stable, granary and pig stye, the cottage is situated on a farm which is mainly grassland, with various cattle, Jacob sheep and plenty of wildlife. For those who enjoy walking, there are lovely walks on the farm and also many lovely local footpaths. Cyclists too will not be disappointed as there is a flat cycleway which takes you traffic free into Stratford-Upon-Avon just two miles from the cottage.

Accommodation comprises:

  • Comfortable lounge with flatscreen LCD Freeview television with DVD, electric fire and three piece suite for relaxing.
  • Downstairs games room with toys, books and games, as well as full size table tennis.
  • Well equipped kitchen/diner with washing machine, electric hob/oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dining table with four chairs and views of the farmyard.
  • Two first floor bedrooms. The double being spacious with ample storage, a cot and lovely views. The second bedroom is smaller and has full-size bunk beds plus space to hang clothes and drawers.
  • Bathroom including bath with shower over, hand basin, toilet and heated towel rail.
  • Additional information: The self catering holiday cottage comfortably sleeps four guests + a cot. Guest's have the shared use of an eight by four metre (1.3 meter deep) indoor swimming pool (please bring your own towels for the pool). Night storage heaters keep the cottage warm and cosy during the cooler months. All fuel included within the price. Towels are provided. Plenty of off-road parking and a small garden which is fenced with outdoor furniture and a BBQ for relaxing in the evening sunshine. For those who enjoy to eat out, the local villages offer a good selection of pubs. Sorry but pets cannot be accepted. Short breaks available outside of peak season (three nights min - please enquire with the owner.
