With a wealth of history on its doorstep, the barn is an ideal base for walkers and cyclists with close by Forest of Dean and Wye Valley. Ideally situated for the National Hunt racing and festivals at Cheltenham, along with the ancient Saxon town of Winchcombe and Kiftsgate Court Garden. For car enthusiasts, the Prescott Speed Hill Climb hold motoring events throughout the year. Other events near the area that are also worth a visit are Europe s biggest Medieval Festival in July and the Blossom Festival in the springtime.
