About this property

Located in the spectacular and historical village of Broadway is Maple Cottage. A contemporary, terraced home perfect for families of four. As you step through the front door, you will immediately find the beautifully finished kitchen, equipped with all your conveniences, allowing you to make luxurious home-cooked meals, or even something as simple as a freshly made brew. Continue through to the lounge where you will find inviting sofas just waiting for you to relax in them, as you watch your favourite show on the Smart TV with a refreshing glass of wine in hand. As you move up to the first floor of the property, you will discover an opulent king-size bedroom with more than enough storage and a fantastic view of the back garden. Immediately to the right of this is the well-presented family bathroom, equipped with a shower over bath, and further along, a second bedroom with a welcoming double bed, plenty of storage, and a great view of the neighbourhood. Moving back down to the ground floor you will find the conservatory with an ample size dining table and chairs, perfect for those early breakfasts whilst you plan your day. Exiting the conservatory will take you to the sumptuous garden, paved with a lovely stone patio and gravel flooring. This space has a small table with chairs, allowing you to enjoy a gorgeous summer evening in private. Being based in Broadway, there is plenty to keep you entertained during your stay; the high street is located under a mile away from the cottage and features attractions such as the Gordon Russell Design Museum, Hunters Tea Room, and The Cotswold Larder Cakery. Spend the day in Evesham, where the Almonry Museum is waiting to be toured, why not walk along the River Avon and spend some time in the beautiful Hampton Ferry, or explore the vast woodland of Eoves Wood. Stow-on-the-Wold is a great day out, with a selection of galleries to visit, the beautiful landmark of Abbotswood to view and the delightful Queens Head Inn to end the day in. Further afield, you will find other villages such as Blockley, Broad Campden, and Chipping Campden, all featuring historical sites, restaurants, and pubs. With so much at your doorstep, this is a holiday you won't want to miss out on.

Titled the 'Jewel of the Cotswolds', Broadway certainly lives up to its name; resting at the foot of the Worcestershire Hills and surrounded by unspoilt scenery, the village is a great location for those wanting to escape the busyness of life. Visitors can spend the day wandering through a plethora of independent shops and boutiques, before enjoying a tasty meal at one of the village's eateries. Walkers can relish the trails that weave through the village, including the route leading up to the historical Broadway Tower, beholding magnificent views of the village in the distance.

The cleanliness was to a very high standard, no faults there. Only two minor faults. Could do with a better shower, the second fault is a personnel choice, although the biscuits and crisps are a nice touch, please get better crisps.

One they must have known was a problem because a topper had been fitted. Problem previously reported by another guest regarding the boiler had not been addressed. You cannot have a bath without the boiler cutting off before you hardly have any hot water. Dog kennels extremely noisy 5.30am Saturday morning. Noise at other times, but Saturday seemed to be the worst. On a positive note, the kitchen was well stocked.
