Parker’s Lodge is part of a collection of five superb holiday cottages on the Netherley Hall Estate, a family-run farm specialising in the breeding of cattle and sheep. Guests can enjoy marvellous woodland walks right from the doorstep, including scenic routes leading up to the iconic British Camp, part of the Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The cottages are just a 15-minute drive from Malvern and offer panoramic views of the surrounding wooded hills and unspoilt countryside. The area is a haven for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts, with abundant wildlife to observe and excellent walking, cycling, and birdwatching opportunities. The nearby Worcestershire Way and Geopark Way are popular long-distance trails for more adventurous explorers.
Each cottage has been carefully restored using local materials, including English oak timber felled on the Estate. With a strong focus on sustainability, the Estate minimises the use of plastics in the cottages and promotes local produce. Guests also have access to a gym and tennis court, adding to the variety of leisure options during their stay. Nearby attractions include the Malvern Hills, Eastnor Castle, the Three Counties Showground, and Malvern Theatre.
The local area also offers golf, fishing, horse riding, and seasonal fruit picking. Families will enjoy visits to local cider orchards, historic market towns like Ledbury and Upton-upon-Severn, and nature reserves such as the Knapp and Papermill. Please note: There's a new house being built approximately 100m from Parkers Lodge, and delivery drivers may pass the back of Parkers Lodge from time to time in weekdays at working hours. Only stayed two nights, ideal for people with dogs who like to walk. Kim was very welcoming and the welcome pack was excellent. Beds were lovely and comfy, and the house was nice and warm when we walked in. Needs some lighting round the garden area.

A delightful cottage but not easy to find in the dark. Might be a good idea to give the directions from Malvern as well as from the M5 as we wanted to call at the supermarket for supplies and could see neither the church nor the river that were both integral to the directions. Also, a more obvious sign at the drive entrance and at the house itself. We were a little disappointed that dogs had to be on a lead throughout the estate, especially as all the livestock was in fenced-off fields. However, the cottage was warm and comfortable.

We had an absolutely lovely short break in beautiful surroundings and peace and quiet. Listening to the owls at night was lovely and Kim and her hubby were lovely. You ideally need a car or use taxis of which we were able to use Uber so no issues there. A beautiful place to stay perfect for dogs and kids as garden is fully enclosed and safe. Can totally recommend
