I believe this is only the second year this lodge has been in operation so everything was very fresh and clean; very suitable for one or two persons but intermittent WiFi was a struggle. Coming from a totally silent cul de sac I found the adjacent lane rather noisy and access to the parking area rather unnerving. Sitting on the veranda overlooking the fields was great. The host was very welcoming and helpful; milk and biscuits on arrival a lovely treat. The surrounding countryside is beautiful with lovely towns to explore.

Refreshing break in practical, basic accommodation. Good rural location for a short stay in lovely area, it had all the basics. Friendly and helpful host. No heat source at all so we had to ask for a heater which was supplied straight away. Didnt enjoy looking at the workshop and yard to one side which could benefit from privacy screening. Decor bit dated.
