Snaptrip says

Owl Cottage in Warwickshire is a well-received holiday rental, praised for its cosy atmosphere, well-equipped facilities, and the added luxury of a hot tub. Guests appreciate the secure garden for pets, the thoughtful touches by the owners, and the property's peaceful and relaxing setting. While some minor issues were noted, the overall sentiment is positive with many guests looking to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Most guests found Owl Cottage to be clean and tidy, with only a few mentioning the need for a more thorough cleaning in certain areas, such as under radiators and dealing with cobwebs. The presence of dog hairs on carpets was noted by one guest, suggesting room for improvement.

The location is generally appreciated for its peacefulness and proximity to local amenities, including pubs and walks. However, some guests found the property a bit hard to find, and the entrance gate cumbersome. The rural setting was both a positive aspect and a slight inconvenience for some.

Guests describe the cottage as cosy and comfortable, with a particularly comfy bed. However, concerns were raised about the size of the bedroom and the firmness of the mattress, which affected the comfort level for some guests.

While the cottage's facilities, including the kitchen and hot tub, are generally praised, there are mixed reviews regarding maintenance issues such as the shower temperature and oven tripping the power. Due to these varied experiences, an accurate score cannot be provided.

The owners' thoughtfulness is frequently mentioned, with guests appreciating welcome treats like chocolates and milk. It is important to note that such gestures, while common, are not guaranteed for every stay.

Ideally located for Warwick, Leamington, Coventry and lots of walks too ie Daventry. Great enclosed gardens with a hot tub and also has benefit of a car charging point which we didn’t realise til later but easily sorted with Adrian and Helen the great hosts to whom nothing was too much trouble. Totally recommend

Instructions for keys and access were clear. Garden nicely maintained with gorgeous views out across fields. Comfy sofa and bed - always important. Plenty of kitchen counters and storage. It was very handy having use of the washing machine. There's a bath and toilet upstairs (we didn't use) and a toilet, basin and shower in a wet room downstairs next to the bedroom so we used that all the time. The bedroom is small, not much bigger than the double bed, but by the second night we were used to sliding in and had no problems. Good pub meals locally. We would definitely come back for another stay. There was a thick folder of helpful info with everything local listed, from vets to activities, and contact details for our hosts in case we had a problem (we didn't). Also, since I have bad knees, I always mention in my reviews how the accommodation was for me - in case it is of interest to anyone else. There is one step into the front door and one step out to the garden. The flooring is a mix of carpet and tile. The toilet is one of the low ones, which isn't great for my knees, but was manageable. The toilet was also facing a nearby wall, which had a towel rail on it. I had to be careful not to use the towel rail as a grab rail! Sofa was also lowish, but again manageable and very comfortable. All in all, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.
