Ideal for couples looking to get away from it all, this quirky abode has off-road parking, a private garden, and gorgeous rural surroundings with access to the river from your hut. Although sitting on shared grounds, you'll find your home-from-home tucked away down a grassy path in a secluded spot. There is also no TV for the chance to switch off completely and admire the local nature and wildlife. Inside the hut, you'll find a double bed with sheep wool blankets from the owner's sheep and a dining area for two, whilst the hut itself is insulated with sheep wool and complete with a solar-powered box with USB charge points.

There is also a rustic cubicle housing a compost WC close to the hut. On summer days, you can wander down to the river and relax in the sun, whilst your private decking area has outdoor seating to toast to your idyllic retreat. The site has shared facilities for your self-catering stay, including two spacious shower rooms, and a kitchen/diner with everything you need to prepare a hearty, home-cooked meal. If you're staying with a group, the shared patio is perfect for socialising in a peaceful spot with outdoor seating and a charcoal barbecue.
