Little Pines Lodge was one of the most beautiful staycations we have had ever. Upon arrival, it is instantly cosy and homely. Claire and Phillip have done an incredible job of decorating the space to make it welcoming. We loved the little touches throughout the cottage including little treats and milk. Claire makes an incredible butterfly cake and we felt very lucky to receive this as it was delicious. The location is fantastic. There’s a cake shed (which is delicious) up the road which is reasonably priced, there’s several great pubs for food nearby and there’s some National Trust areas also. We thought it was an absolutely fantastic base for exploring Staffordshire. You’re also provided with a huge basket with loads of different leaflets of things you can do and Claire & Phillip go out of their way to provide you with up-to-date local events in their little booklet. You have all you need in the lodge - wifi, hot water, TV, a sitting area, dining table, etc. Both have really thought of everything to make the lodge like a home away from home. Everything is labelled, there’s instructions on how to use everything and Claire & Phillip are on hand if you need anything. Honestly, it’s one we’d easily go back to. It was beautiful and such a perfect stay. We really enjoyed ourselves!

We had a lovely 2 nights stay; the cottage is full of quirky little thing to find and look at.It has been put together with a lot of love. Thank you for the welcome pack.If you get time have a few hours at Rudyard Lake, it is a beautiful place to have a nice stroll and watch people on the water boating. Also have a little walk down the road to the “cake hut” that’s full of goodies. The 2 nights went so fast, we will be booking again for longer. Many thanks

A perfect stay in this lovely little lodge. Well equipped for our stay, in a peaceful rural location. What more could you want. Our host Claire was lovely, and living in the main property, was on hand if needed. We wouldn't hesitate to come back if we're in the area again.
