Lovely cottage , nicely appointed with every needed for a lovely stay . Owner left fresh eggs from her own hens plus homemade cakes and few bits like part baked rolls and porridge and cereals plus some tortilla chips , which I thought was a lovely touch . Would 100% stay again when next in area for work .

What an amazing lodge! Loved the quirky kitchen area and table & chairs.Very comfortable place to relax after a day of sight seeing and visiting National Trust properties.Lovely outdoor seating area which we used a lot as the weather was very kind to us.Very clean throughout and every item you could possibly want was supplied. There was a very generous welcome pack and delicious cakes waiting for us on arrival. There are supermarkets in both Congleton and Biddulph which are easy to get to by car.Owners are lovely and made us very welcome. We would definitely recommend and we would love to return in the future.
