The weather was damp and miserable .Understandable, as the rooms are big. In fairness there is a woodstove in the kitchen, which we could have lit, and an electric fire in the smaller sitting room - which we 2 sat in after the rest of our party departed on the Saturday. I couldn't work out how the fire in the drawing room worked though. And concluded it was 'cosmetic ' only. But the house is lovely, very well -equipped and absolutely pristine .And the three bathrooms were a bonus when 7 people were getting ready for a wedding

It felt rural and secluded but easy access to local amenities and easy transport links. It was really spacious and the most well equipped property we have ever stayed in, they had thought of everything! Would highly recommend.
