Stoke on Trent is renowned for its pottery industry a number of bottle ovens still remaining, visit the World of Wedgwood, Gladstone pottery museum and Emma Bridgwater a modern designer where you can paint your own pottery. Trentham Estate offers tranquil walks through beautiful gardens and excellent retail therapy in the garden centre and shopping outlets, children of all ages will enjoy the Monkey Forest and a rope course through the trees provides challenges for the adventurous. Much excitement is found at Alton Towers with thrilling rides, water park & crazy golf. It also offers fine walks through the gardens and woodland and the Castle ruins are waiting to be explored.
