This romantic bolthole enjoys a peaceful setting amongst the Staffordshire countryside, just outside the quaint village of Endon. The adults-only shepherd’s hut sleeps two guests and makes the perfect retreat for couples who love to disconnect and immerse themselves in nature. Enjoy long walks through the breathtaking landscapes of the Staffordshire Moorlands directly from the property, or journey 8 miles to explore the well-trodden routes through the Peak District National Park. The historic market town of Leek is 5.5 miles away and has a great range of independent shops and eateries. The town also hosts regular markets throughout the month, and is a great place to pick up local goods and produce. The surrounding area is awash with fantastic attractions, such as Alton Towers (16 miles) and Trentham Estate (10 miles), and you’ll be within easy reach of the picturesque Peak District towns of Bakewell (24 miles) and Buxton (18 miles).

The timber-clad shepherd’s hut is on a smallholding with animals including donkeys and emus. It has an open-plan, studio-style layout and is decorated in a rustic, countryside theme with bespoke wooden furniture and an array of homely touches and pretty soft furnishings. At the far end of the hut is a comfortable double bed to sink into at the end of a busy day, and a Smart TV. The holiday home is also equipped with a kitchenette, for rustling up hearty breakfasts and light bites, which you can share together in the outdoor dining area. On chilly evenings, fire up the wood burner to create a cosy atmosphere in the hut. Completing the accommodation is a contemporary shower room.

Outside, soak up the tranquillity and admire the countryside views from your private garden area. In summer, prepare your dinner on the BBQ and enjoy an al fresco meal, followed by a glass of wine around the crackling fire pit. Private parking is available on site.
